First runner for 2026, first winner in new Ace Stud silks

Sovereign Wealth (Frankel) raced prominently throughout, led at the two-furlong marker and went clear inside the final furlong to shed his maiden tag at the eighth time of asking.

He is the first winner out of the winning Shamardal mare Canton Queen. The second dam Hana Lina (Oasis Dream) produced six other winners, including the Gr.1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint winner Big Evs (Blue Point). The next dam Queen’s Logic (Grand Lodge) won the Gr.1 Cheveley Park Stakes and produced ten winners, including the Gr.2 Diadem Stakes winner and Gr.1 Sprint Cup runner-up Lady Of The Desert (Rahy; dam of the Gr.2 Lowther Stakes heroine Queen Kindly) and the 11-time winner and Listed-placed King’s Advice (Frankel).
